Terms and Conditions

By booking or entering this facility, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions of Use. These conditions apply to all users, players, visitors, and participants.

1. Authorised Access
   • A valid booking is required to enter and use the facility.
   • Unauthorised access or use of courts is prohibited.
   • Access codes must not be shared with any unauthorised person.

2. Unstaffed Facility
   • This is an unstaffed venue.
   • There are no supervisors, staff, or first aid personnel on site.
   • You are responsible for your own safety.
   • Call 000 in an emergency.

3. Acknowledgement of Risk
   • Physical activity involves inherent risks.
   • Risks include slips, trips, falls, collisions, uneven surfaces, equipment failure, illness, and property damage.
   • Serious injury or death can occur.
   • By participating, you acknowledge and accept all associated risks.

4. Assumption of Responsibility
   • You play at your own risk.
   • You are responsible for your own safety and behaviour.
   • You are liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused by your actions.

5. Wet Weather Conditions
   • Do not play in wet weather.
   • Courts become unsafe when wet and increase the risk of slips and falls.
   • Stop play immediately if the surface becomes slippery.
   • Refunds or credits will be issued for bookings affected by wet weather.

6. Court Safety
   • Run off areas and boundaries vary between courts.
   • Divider nets and barriers may be used to separate courts.
   • Stay aware of your surroundings at all times.
   • Move with care near court edges and dividers.
   • Adjust your movement to the conditions of the venue.
   • You accept the inherent risks of sport, including slips, trips, falls, and contact with dividers or equipment.
   • You agree to take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others.

7. Age Requirements
   • Participants must be 16 years or older unless part of an approved junior program.
   • Children under 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

8. Health and Medical Responsibilities
   • Ensure you are physically able to participate.
   • Obtain medical clearance if you have any medical conditions.

9. Footwear and Equipment Safety
   • Sports footwear must be worn at all times.
   • Do not use damaged or unsafe equipment.
   • Report unsafe conditions immediately.
   • Return all balls and equipment to the designated storage area.

10. Alcohol and Behaviour
    • Alcohol is not permitted.
    • Intoxicated persons must not enter or play.
    • Unsafe, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour is not permitted.

11. Insurance
    • The facility does not provide personal accident or injury insurance.
    • Users must arrange their own insurance if required.

12. Release of Liability
    • To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Play Pickle SSMG Operations Pty Ltd, its directors, staff, contractors, and agents from all liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the facility or participation in any activity, except where required by law.

13. Automated External Defibrillator
    • An Automated External Defibrillator is available within Broadway Shopping Centre.
    • Users should identify the AED location before commencing play.

14. CCTV Monitoring
    • The facility is monitored by closed circuit television.
    • Entry constitutes consent to being recorded.

15. Facility Use and Conduct
    • Use equipment only for its intended purpose.
    • Do not alter or move court structures or fittings.
    • Keep gates and accessways clear.
    • Respect all players and neighbouring courts.
    • The facility is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
