Terms & conditions

These terms apply to everyone who uses the rooftop facility. Please read them before you book or come down.

Entering this facility means you accept these terms and conditions. They apply to all users, players, spectators and participants.

Authorised access

A valid booking is required to enter the facility.

  • Sharing access codes is prohibited.
  • The booking holder remains responsible for everyone using their reservation.

Unstaffed facility

This is an unstaffed facility. There is no on-site staff or first-aid personnel, and users are responsible for their own safety and that of their group. In an emergency, call 000 immediately.

Acknowledgement of risk

Physical activity carries inherent risks, including slips, trips, falls, collisions, uneven surfaces, weather exposure, equipment failure, illness and property damage.

Assumption of responsibility

Participants accept full responsibility for any injuries, damages or losses resulting from their own actions or negligence.

Weather, wind and rooftop conditions

As an open-air rooftop, conditions can change. Management may suspend play when conditions are unsafe, and may issue refunds for weather-affected bookings.

Court safety

Users must stay aware of their surroundings, including variable court layouts and the placement of barriers.

Booking time compliance

Access is limited to your booked session times. Overstaying may result in additional charges and future restrictions.

Age requirements

The minimum age is 16 unless enrolled in an approved junior program. Younger participants require guardian supervision.

Health and medical responsibilities

Users confirm they are fit to participate and should seek medical advice if they have any health concerns.

Footwear and equipment safety

Appropriate non-marking sports shoes are mandatory. Damaged equipment must not be used, and any hazards must be reported promptly.

Alcohol, drugs and behaviour

Alcohol, illegal drugs and intoxication are strictly prohibited. Aggressive or disruptive conduct will result in immediate removal.

Noise and neighbour amenity

Excessive noise and disruptive activity are prohibited. Amplified music requires management approval.

Prohibited items and activities

The following are not permitted: glass containers, smoking, vaping, unauthorised commercial activity, drones, tripods and personal filming equipment, and any alteration of the facility structure.

Damage, cleaning and property care

Users are responsible for the cost of any damage they cause. The facility accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen personal items.

Insurance

The facility does not provide accident or injury insurance cover.

Release of liability

Users release Play Pickle SSMG Operations Pty Ltd from liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Marketing, photography and filming consent

Users consent to photography and filming for facility purposes. Written opt-out requests must be made before booking.

CCTV monitoring

Entry constitutes consent to security camera recording.

Defibrillator and first aid

An automated external defibrillator (AED) is located at Broadway Shopping Centre, level 3. A first-aid kit is available at the equipment storage.

Suspension or termination of access

Management may revoke access for any violation of these terms. No refunds are issued for behaviour-related terminations.

Force majeure

Access may be restricted due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Variation of terms

These terms may be updated. Continued use of the facility indicates acceptance of the current version.
